Attorney Elizete D. Velado of the Goldberg Noone Law Firm was inducted to the position of Membership Director on the Board of the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers, (LCAWL), at the group's induction ceremony on August 16th, 2019.
Velado will be serving for the 2019-2020 term and is greatly looking forward to promoting the organization and serving Lee County's legal community in her role.
LCAWL is a local branch of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL), an organization that was founded in 1951 with the goal of propelling women lawyers into economic, social and leadership spheres of power. As a local FAWL chapter, LCAWL is dedicated to actively promoting and supporting the advancement of women within the Lee County legal community.
Velado received her Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State University College of Law, and has been with Goldberg Noone since 2016. She has helped the firm win two multi-million-dollar verdicts in cases involving the wrongful death of motorcyclists, and successfully litigated dozens of personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of her injured clients.
