Attorney Scot D. Goldberg Accepts Hodges Teaching Position

Posted by Goldberg Noone Abraham | Mar 15, 2016 | 0 Comments

Local personal injury lawyer Scot D. Goldberg, founding partner of the Goldberg, Racila, D'Alessandro & Noone law firm, has accepted an adjunct professor teaching position at the Fort Myers campus of Hodges University.

Goldberg will be teaching Torts to students interested in a career in the law. A tort is defined as ‘a civil wrong that unfairly causes someone else to suffer loss or harm resulting in legal liability for the person who commits the tortious act'.

“I've always loved being in a classroom environment”, Goldberg said. “I really enjoy helping young people get to know the intricacies of the legal and judicial system so they can get an insider's view of how things really work”.

Goldberg has a long history of volunteering to speak and many area middle schools, high schools and colleges as a guest lecturer, and donates his time to the annual Lee County Mock Trial Competition and to Constitution Week, both organized by the Lee County Bar Association.

After beginning his legal career in the State Attorney's Office, Goldberg worked for another local firm prior to forming Goldberg, Racila, D'Alessandro & Noone in 2000. The firm has 5 attorneys and 3 Southwest Florida offices, working with clients who have been injured in an accident.
