Local Southwest Florida personal injury and criminal defense attorney Scot D. Goldberg, of Goldberg, Racila, D'Alessandro & Noone, has been elected to a two-year term serving on the Executive Committee of the Lee Country Bar Association as a Member at Large, beginning in January 2016.
Goldberg will be working with the Association's newly-elected President, Scott Atwood, to facilitate the efforts of various Executive Council committees and members to ensure the Lee County Bar Association continues to successfully represent their members, as well as participating in positive community outreach, fund raising and event planning.
“I'm really excited to have this opportunity to contribute my time and ideas to help make the Lee County Bar Association more responsive and supportive of local attorneys and the general public”, Goldberg stated. “Our local Bar Association is a very important part of the legal community in Southwest Florida, and the work they do is vital – I look forward to working closely with the many people involved with the Executive Committee to make it even more viable and enhance our services to our members and those in need of legal services”.
Goldberg received his Juris Doctor in 1995, and began his career in the State Attorney's Office. He and his partners formed Goldberg, Racila, D'Alessandro & Noone in 2000.
