The Lee County Chapter of the NAACP extended an invitation for the attorneys and staff of Goldberg, Racila, D'Alessandro & Noone to be their guests at their Annual Freedom Fund Awards Dinner.
The event was held Saturday evening, October 12th, and the theme was “Defining Education for Tomorrow”, anchored by the keynote speech of Dr. Wilson Bradshaw, President of Dunk City – Florida Gulf Coast University. Mr. Mort Goldberg provided opening remarks, along with the introduction of the Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Marcus D. Goodson, Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers.
Attorney Scot D. Goldberg, preceded by his father, Mort, has a long history of support and legal counsel of the Lee County NAACP, and serves on the organization's At-Large Executive Committee. Attorney Joseph D'Alessandro also served as the Honorary Chairman of the 2013 Freedom Fund Committee, and has a long history of service as the Vice Chairman of the Housing Authority of The City of Fort Myers Commission, a community partner of the Lee County NAACP Chapter.
