On April 4th, 2013, The Consumer Product Safety Commission, (CPSC), announced a recall from Dynacraft Corporation of the company's Urban Shredder ride-on toys due to a potential fall hazard.

The release says the ride-on toy can unexpectedly accelerate and cause the rider to lose control, posing a potential injury from falling off. Consumers who own these toys are advised to stop using them immediately, disconnect the battery and return the toy to the store where it was purchased for a full refund or a store credit. You may also contact Dynacraft at 800-551-0032 between 7am and 4pm PT Monday through Friday, or online at, and click on “Owners,” then select “Warnings/Recalls.”
