CPSC Announces Recall of 2 Potentially Hazardous Items

(April 4, 2013) – Yesterday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSP) announced the manufacturer’s recall of two potentially dangerous consumer products – certain models of chest freezers made by Haier Corporation and Black & Decker, and a remote-control flying helicopter made by Midwest Trading Group.

The chest freezers can overheat, causing a fire, with reports of more than 27 incidents, 3 resulting in substantial property damage. For complete details on specific model numbers, styles and what to do if you own one of these, click here.
