Target has announced the recall of the Giada De Laurentiis ceramic lasagna pan, saying the pan can break and cause a laceration injury hazard.
The 9″ x 13″ pans are cream colored, sold individually and in a six-piece set. The bottom of the pan is stamped “Giada de Laurentiis for Target”. Target has received 39 reports of the pan or its handles breaking or cracking under normal use, with cuts or lacerations occurring in 6 of those cases.

“I love lasagna, and I love Giada di Laurentiis,” says Port Charlotte defective products lawyer Scot D. Goldberg. “But, this is a good example of even the most innocuous product having the potential to inflict a serious injury to the consumer”.
If you own one of the recalled pans, you are advised to stop using it immediately and return it to Target for a full refund. Target customer relations can be contacted at 800-440-0680.
If a defective or hazardous consumer product has caused an injury to you or someone you know, you should speak to a personal injury attorney as soon as possible. It doesn't cost a thing to talk to the lawyers at Goldberg, Racila, D'Alessandro & Noone to discuss whether you may have a legal case for financial compensation for your injuries and medical treatment.
