On February 14th, the Consumer Products Safety Commission announced the recall of a step-stool ladder that could possibly crack or break, causing a serious personal injury.

The stool, manufactured by Cramer, LLC and called the Task-It 1-UP Folding Step Stool, is sold at several nationwide office supply chains, including Staples, among others, and retails for around $40.00

There have been 14 reported incidents of the stools breaking or cracking while in use, with 2 reported injuries, resulting in head, neck and back pain.
